What is the person-hour rate for software development?
Person-hour rates run from US$25 to US$60, depending on the role. What a project costs depends on which roles work on it, and for how many hours. Hire a developer alone and you pay for that developer’s hours only; on fixed-scope projects the product owner, analyst and QA sit inside one total price.
| Role | Per person-hour (USD) | What they do |
|---|---|---|
| Junior Developer | $25-30 | Development and maintenance under the tech lead’s supervision |
| Mid-level Developer | $35-40 | Web, mobile and integration development |
| Senior Developer / Tech Lead | $50-60 | Architecture, technical decisions and code review |
| Senior QA | $35-40 | Tests every release before it ships |
| Business Analyst | $38-45 | Turns your needs into a written scope and acceptance criteria |
| Product Owner (PO) | $45-55 | Your single point of contact; runs priorities and the weekly release |
What does each kind of project cost, and how long does it take?
The table below is the full set of budget bands we publish. Where you land inside a band depends on the number of user types, the integrations and how much design work there is. The kiosk row excludes hardware: the screen, the enclosure and the payment terminal are a separate purchase, and not from us.
| Package | Budget | Typical time | Example scope |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single-flow business app / web MVP | US$3,500-9,000 | 3-6 weeks | One core flow, sign-up and login, a basic admin panel |
| Full-scale web platform / enterprise panel | US$9,000-25,000 | 6-12 weeks | Roles, reporting, a customer portal, integrations |
| Simple mobile app (iOS + Android) | US$5,000-10,000 | 4-8 weeks | One codebase, core flows, an admin panel |
| Mid-level mobile app (iOS + Android) | US$10,000-20,000 | Depends on scope | Multi-role flows, offline mode, notifications, integrations |
| ERP / CRM integration or a CRM module | US$2,500-7,000 | 1-5 weeks | Data flow between systems with a monitoring screen, or one custom module |
| Kiosk software | US$3,500-12,000 | 3-10 weeks | From a single-flow queue or check-in screen to a kiosk with basket and payment (hardware not included) |
| Desktop application | US$3,500-14,000 | 3-12 weeks | From a single-purpose tool to one that works offline and talks to hardware |
| AI automation | US$2,500-7,000 | 2-5 weeks | Classification, document reading or natural-language querying added to an existing system |
| AI agent | US$3,500-12,000 | 3-10 weeks | From a single-task agent to a multi-agent workflow acting in your systems |
Priced in USD. When prices change, the date above changes with them. Small jobs, such as maintenance or a single feature, start from US$1,000.
What actually stretches a timeline?
What stretches a timeline is the number of user types and outside systems that come into the work. A first version with one flow is running in 2-4 weeks. A portal where customers log in with their own accounts takes 6-10 weeks, and a system wired into the tools you already use 8-12 weeks.
| Scope | What it includes | Time |
|---|---|---|
| First version (MVP) | One flow, one user type, basic reporting | 2-4 weeks |
| Operations dashboard | Several flows, roles, alerts, mobile access | 4-8 weeks |
| Customer portal | External user accounts, self-service screens, permissions | 6-10 weeks |
| Integrated system | Links to existing systems, data migration, reporting | 8-12 weeks |
That table is for web applications. Kiosk, desktop, mobile, dashboard and AI projects each carry their own timeline table on their service page, and the quote wizard estimates from the same figures.
What decides the price of a project?
Five things separate two projects that carry the same title. They are why one mobile app costs US$5,000 and another US$20,000.
- Scope: how many flows, user roles and screens
- Platform: web only, or iOS and Android as well
- Integrations: how many systems to connect, and whether they have an API
- Data migration: moving existing records into the new system
- Design: whether you bring a design or we start from scratch
The recurring costs people leave out of the budget
The software itself is a one-off; the costs around it keep coming. The items below sit outside the development price and deserve their own budget line. The store fees were checked against Apple’s and Google’s own pages in September 2026.
- Apple Developer Program: US$99 a year, required to publish on the App Store.
- Google Play developer account: a one-off US$25.
- Hosting and domain names: monthly or yearly, in your own account.
- SMS and email sending: charged per message.
- Payment provider fees: taken from every transaction.
- Maintenance: free from us for 30 days after launch, then a monthly retainer or job by job.
An off-the-shelf product or software of your own?
Products sold on a monthly subscription start quickly and cost little up front. Software of your own gets ahead when your process differs from the average, when per-user fees grow, or when the data and the integrations have to belong to you. Our projects start at US$1,000; below that, a ready-made product is the better answer and we will say so.
Payment and terms
On fixed-scope projects 30% is paid at the start and the rest across delivery milestones. A dedicated team runs for a minimum of three months and is billed monthly. Bug fixes are free for 30 days after launch. Source code and IP transfer to you on final payment, and if the scope changes you get the time and budget impact in writing within 24 hours.
Where these figures come from
The rates and terms are our own prices. The budget bands were set in September 2026 by reading published price guides from Turkish software firms and checking them against our USD pricing; the kiosk, desktop and AI rows were derived from those bands at the same budget-per-week. The timelines are the same scope-tier tables that appear on our service pages.
This page is not a statistical study drawn from completed client projects; it is our pricing and planning figures gathered in one place. Amounts exclude VAT, the lira equivalent moves with the exchange rate, and the date above changes whenever a price does.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a mobile app cost?
A simple app on iOS and Android from one codebase sits in the US$5,000-10,000 band and takes 4-8 weeks. Multi-role flows, offline working and integrations move it into the US$10,000-20,000 band. Store accounts and the release process sit outside those figures.
How long does a web application take?
A first version with one flow is ready to open and use in 2-4 weeks. An operations dashboard covering several flows, with roles and alerts, takes 4-8 weeks; a customer portal 6-10 weeks; a system wired into your existing tools 8-12 weeks.
How long does kiosk software take?
A single-flow kiosk is in the field in 3-5 weeks, an ordering kiosk takes 5-8 weeks and a kiosk that takes payment 6-10 weeks. What moves that timeline most is the integration method your bank or payment provider offers. Sourcing the hardware and installing it on site are planned separately.
Why don’t you publish a fixed price list?
The same title covers very different work: a "mobile app" can be a single-flow field tool or a multi-role platform. So we publish our rates by role and our budget bands instead, and give one firm figure once the scope is written down.
What is the smallest budget you work with?
Our projects start at US$1,000. Maintenance, a single feature or a tightly scoped first version sit near that end. If the budget is tight, we suggest shipping the one flow that earns the most and building on it.
